Making Indian red tomato chutney is very easy and tasty , and very famous . We can serve with every thing specially with stuffed Indian paratha and samosa . Ingredients are also easily available at home like ginger, garlic, chilies and chopped tomatoes , cumin seeds . These days we are making chutney with mixer grander . I remember my childhood when my grandfather and after him my father used to make chutney on the big flat stone with heavy stone roller that is called “silbatta ” , it was easily available at every home in old day , but now life has changed completely its faster now so we need quick option but , Believe me that was the real awesome Indian flavor of chutney . I have lots of fan of my tomato chutney , it makes me feel great , but when ever i make this chutney i always remember my grandfather and my father they both were awesome to make chutneys like guava , mango (kachcha aam) ……. etc but today i am posting tomato chutney So here is the recipe ……… 😀
- 2 Big tomatoes copped / tamator
- 3 tbsp Coriander leaves / cilantro leaves
- 1 tbsp Ginger chopped / adrak
- 4-5 Garlic chopped/ lahsun
- 1/4 tbs cumin seeds / Jeera
- 4-5 green chili / Hari mirch
- salt to taste / Namak
Now chopped all ingredients and put in grander jar . Grind it , don’t make very smooth paste , keep it like coarse paste.
Now Tomato chutney is ready…………………
Server according to your taste . we can eat this chutney with all Indian cuisine. Enjoy ………………… !!!
